Master of Realms began as a community-driven project supported through Kickstarter. The vision was to create a tool that combines the speed of tile-based mapmaking with the depth of freeform design. Since its early builds, MoR has been shaped by consistent feedback from its player base, with regular playtest updates and development milestones achieved in close collaboration with the community. From Hexcrafter mode to the upcoming Realm Weaver mode, each feature has evolved from both developer ambition and user demand.

 

Our journey started with a clear vision: to revolutionize map creation by making it accessible, flexible, and powerful for both newcomers and professional creators. What began as a personal passion project quickly grew into something larger when we launched our Kickstarter campaign in March 2024. The response was overwhelming, our campaign raised more than $750,000 from over 12,000 backers, far exceeding our original $30,000 goal.

 

As a small but experienced team, we personally manage every aspect of this project—from design and testing to customer support and 3D printing validation. We have a decade of experience in sculpting and preparing 3D models to ensure the best prints and quality. 

 

We know that our journey is far from complete without the continued support of our community. Every pledge, every piece of feedback, and every map created with MoR strengthens the foundation of what we are building together. Our mission remains the same: to make Master of Realms not just a product, but a community triumph, a pivotal innovation that redefines the art of tabletop mapmaking.
